Magnus Aircraft Zrt. – New production hall

April 15, 2024

Magnus Aircraft Zrt. laid the foundation stone for the new production hall for small aircraft in Pogány (near Pécs).

The company will build its own four-seater light aircraft here. The four-seater model will also be launched on the market in a version with an electric drive.

Magnus Aircraft's two-seater aircraft have already tapped into a global market, with applications ranging from forestry management to border surveillance. Following the market success of the two-seater Fusion II, the composite lightweight construction company also wanted to venture into a four-seater aircraft. To this end, the company purchased the licence for the Russian IL-103, which has been built as a single-engine all-metal aircraft since the 1990s.

Founded ten years ago, Magnus Aircraft Zrt. employs 80 people and has spent around HUF 6 billion (EUR 15.3 million) on a series of investment projects in recent years.
