ABZ Innovation Kft. is establishing one of Europe’s largest civilian drone manufacturing centers in Szentendre, near Budapest, through an investment of approximately HUF 2.7 billion (EUR 7.6 million).
The company has been providing drone-related services for a decade and has been manufacturing its own proprietary drones for the past three to four years. Hungarian drone technology has already proven its reliability in more than 40 countries, ranging from the United States to the Far East.
The project financing has been secured by an international consortium led by Vsquared Ventures. The capital injection amounts to EUR 7 million, following the recognition of a shortage of reliable, high-performance drones for commercial use in Europe.
