Baracsi-Paletta Kft. is implementing a development project worth HUF 1 billion (approximately EUR 2.75 million) at its site in Mezőtúr. As part of the project, a robotic raw-material processing line worth more than HUF 300 million (EUR 833,000) will be commissioned.
The system, developed jointly with the German company Weinig Dimter GmbH & Co. KG, currently represents a unique solution for facilities of a certain size. The plant is set to become the German company’s reference facility in Central and Eastern Europe.
The company is also prepared for the EU’s EUDR regulation, which requires detailed traceability of the origin of wood. The company’s production capacity is expected to double as a result of the investment.
