Femtonics Kft. – Ventilators and rapid tests

Femtonics Kft. increased its capacities in Kővágószőlős (near the city of Pécs) with an investment of HUF 915 million (EUR 2.28 million). The company received a conditional reimbursement of HUF 730 million (EUR 1.8 million) for the development. In addition to the "LUCA" type ventilators intended for export, the company also produces rapid Femto-ID Covid tests.

The company was founded in 2005 by researchers of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) as a spin-off for medical technology research. The first products were special microscopes for use in neurology.
