Aerope Holding Kft., a company within the Alteo Group, has received a construction permit for its self-developed wind power project near Ács in Komárom-Esztergom County.
The project will have a capacity of 19.95 MW. Following several years of stagnation in Hungary’s wind energy sector, it is among the first new wind power developments in the country.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027, while the wind farm is expected to be connected to the national electricity grid in the first half of 2028.
