A facility for coating separator films will be established in the Southern Industrial Park of Nyíregyháza. Sinomatech Hungary Kft. plans to invest EUR 114 million and create 275 jobs.
The investment will be carried out on a site previously used by Lego and Flextronics. While the production of the specialty films themselves will remain at the group’s facilities in China, the ceramic coating process will be performed in Hungary.
The planned plant in Nyíregyháza is expected to achieve an annual capacity of approximately 7,500 tonnes of coated separator films.
