Kuube Hungary Kft. has unveiled the Kuube Note Plus interactive urban meeting point at a bus stop in Miskolc, together with dedicated parking facilities for bicycles and electric scooters.
The system operates entirely on solar energy, can be installed in just 30 minutes, and is designed for year-round operation, including during winter. It enables users to charge mobile phones and even laptops. The system, developed entirely in Hungary, features a special surface coating capable of neutralizing harmful emissions equivalent to those produced by 10 cars per day.
The installation was made possible through the metaCCAZE project, which is part of the EU Horizon Europe programme. According to the Miskolc public transport company MVK Zrt., the initiative brings together 44 organizations from 12 countries to develop mobility solutions that help participating cities achieve climate neutrality and promote sustainable urban mobility.
