The Chinese car brand iCAUR is being introduced to the Hungarian market. Import operations in Hungary will be handled by Grand Automotive East Kft., a subsidiary of the Grand Automotive Group.
Preparations for the launch in Hungary of the brand, which belongs to China’s Chery Group, are already under way, with sales of the first vehicles expected to begin in early 2027.
Grand Automotive began operating in the Hungarian market in 2019, when it took over import operations for Nissan. Since then, the group has also been active in the wholesale of various car brands.
Grand Automotive East Kft. reported net revenue of EUR 95.5 million in 2025, two-thirds of which came from exports. Profit after tax exceeded EUR 1.8 million.
