Halms Hungary, an automotive component manufacturer with Chinese background, is investing approximately HUF 80 billion (EUR 205 million) in Miskolc.
The company will create around 1,000 jobs and supply automotive manufacturers such as BMW, Volvo, Tesla, and Jaguar with two million components annually, including aluminum cast parts and engine blocks. Halms will exclusively use recycled aluminum and cooperate with the University of Miskolc in dual education programs.
